Firearm Sales Terms
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Where These Terms Apply
Firearm sales, transfers, special orders, and regulated items are handled by CUSTOM GUNWORKS LLC only where legally permitted and in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
This page describes how we approach that work in general terms. It is not a description of what applies to your particular situation, and it is not a substitute for asking us directly.
Requirements Depend on Circumstances
Customer eligibility, transfer requirements, identification, background checks, waiting periods, and pickup rules all depend on applicable federal, state, and local requirements. They are not the same for every customer, every firearm, or every transaction.
For that reason we do not publish the specifics here. Requirements differ by circumstance and change over time, and a general rule applied to a situation it does not fit is not a small problem in this area. We confirm what applies to your situation directly with you before anything proceeds.
Contact the Shop Before You Start
Custom Gunworks can assist with firearm transfer support where legally permitted and in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Customers should contact the shop before shipping or initiating a transfer.
The same applies before placing a special order or shipping an item to us. Contacting the shop first establishes what we are able to assist with and what would be involved, and it is the step that saves customers the most trouble.
No Online Firearm Checkout
This website does not sell firearms directly and does not process firearm sales through online checkout. Regulated items are never completed as a web purchase.
Anything submitted through the website is a request for us to follow up, not a completed sale or a reserved item. Any regulated transaction must be completed in person through the proper licensed process.
No Legal Advice and No Guarantees
We are not attorneys and nothing on this website is legal advice. For the requirements themselves, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives publishes federal guidance, and Nevada state resources cover state-level requirements.
We do not guarantee approval, availability, transfer timing, or eligibility. Whether a transaction can proceed, how long it takes, and whether a particular item can be obtained all depend on circumstances outside our control.
If We Cannot Assist
If your situation is one we are not able to help with, you will get a straight answer to that effect rather than a workaround. We would suggest being cautious of anyone who offers one, since flexibility about which requirements apply is not a service, it is a risk transferred to the customer.
Questions
Questions about a specific firearm, transfer, or special order should be directed to CUSTOM GUNWORKS LLC at 725-724-1700, or bring them to the shop at 5090 North David St, Pahrump, NV 89060. There is no question in this area that is too basic to ask.
