My rifle was failing to feed every third round and two other shops couldn't figure it out. Custom Gunworks found the issue in one visit and it has run flawlessly since.

Local Customer · Gun Repair

They restored my grandfather's shotgun and treated it like it actually mattered. The wood work alone was worth the drive out.

Had a scope mounted and bore sighted before a hunting trip. Walked straight to the range and was on paper within three shots.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often from customers.

Do I need an appointment to drop off a firearm?

+

Walk ins are welcome for quotes and quick questions, but we recommend calling or using our contact form ahead of time for repairs and custom work so we can plan bench time for your project.

How long will my repair or project take?

+

Turnaround time depends on the type of work and current shop volume. Simple repairs and cleanings are often completed within a few business days, while custom builds, Cerakote, and restorations can take several weeks. We will give you an estimated timeline at intake.

Can you work on older or discontinued firearms?

+

In most cases, yes. Our smiths have experience with a wide range of platforms, including older, surplus, and discontinued models. If parts availability is a concern for your specific firearm, we will let you know during inspection.

Do you sell firearms directly online?

+

We do not offer direct online checkout for firearms. Our shop page lists categories we work with, and all firearm transfers are handled in person through a licensed FFL dealer in compliance with federal and state law. Contact us to confirm current availability.
