Firearm Restoration

Respectful restoration for firearms with history and value.

Service Overview

Some firearms are more than tools, they are family heirlooms, military surplus pieces, or collector items with real history behind them. Our restoration work is approached with respect for the firearm's origin and, where appropriate, its collector value.

We assess each restoration individually and talk through options before any metal or wood work begins.

Restoration is different from a standard repair. It requires patience, an understanding of period correct materials and finishes, and a willingness to slow down when a piece deserves it. We treat every restoration project as a conversation, not a checklist.

Firearm Restoration FAQ

Will restoration reduce the collector value of my firearm?

+

It depends on the piece and the type of work performed. We discuss originality and value considerations with you before beginning so you can make an informed decision.

Can you restore firearms with missing parts?

+

Often yes, depending on parts availability for that specific model. We will let you know during assessment what is realistic.

How long does a restoration take?

+

Restoration timelines vary widely based on scope, from a few weeks for a stock refinish to longer for a full mechanical and cosmetic restoration.

Do you work on antique and surplus military firearms?

+

Yes, this is a regular part of our restoration work. We approach these projects with attention to their history and original specifications.

Is my firearm safe to fire before restoration?

+

We will not know until we inspect it. Do not fire a firearm of uncertain condition, bring it in for assessment first.
